Why most of you are worried about Higher Education in India?
Everyone who grew up in India has always worried about higher education. Higher education in India is not a topic of casual discussion. Whether an important and career deciding topic. When we see junior college students. It is often that we overheard from them about their higher education. That they are concern about it. When I was in college. I was also one of them among many others. So, why most of students are worried about it? Especially in India. Not just students, their parents are also worried about their children’s higher education.
There are lots of reason for that. By 2030 india will be in top position of world’s youngest nation. With 140 million of overall population is of college age group. Within few years our higher studies students will surpass US and china.
Very few institute in India are accredited by NAAC (National assessment and Accreditation council). Most of the institute in India are not even UGC recognized.
It is important for students that before they take any decision about their higher education. They should do a proper research and consulting. There are lots of privates institutes in India which helps students with proper guidance about higher education. Many states university are not in a good shape we all know that. With the help private institute one can afford a proper education. This is the probably the reason why most parents want their children to abroad to study higher education.
Most of the graduate in India are not getting their desire jobs even after getting good scores. Top companies want to hire graduates from top university and institute. Almost nearly 25% of the graduates get the proper jobs in their desire field. Though shortage of industries is also a reason for that. India has very few businessmen and entrepreneur compare to its population. Which gives a birth to job shortage scenario.
Corruption is also one of biggest issue in india. Parent payoff bureaucrats for admission seats, so their children secure their future. And the student from poor financial background is left out. This gives a boast to same problem which we say “Rich get richer and poor gets poorer”.
It is important that, before taking admission into any colleges you should do a proper research. Universitys must have a proper faciliites for students, susch as research facilities, a relevant syllabus, proper management. Tools for studying. If you look into pune’s colleges and universities you will probably find it.
Pune is called oxford of the east for best educational infrastructure. It is one of the preferred educational location for students in india. Since independence we have shown a great improvement in our educational system. But not up to the mark. There is great need of improvement in our education system. With growing population we need more institute and universities.
Non profirt institutes should be taken seriously. There are few non-profit institiute which are proven better than any other instiutes. India was once a capital of education in the world. We need get back its status and glory.
