Located in Jaipur, the LNM Institute of Information Technology was founded as a public-private partnership joint venture between the Government of Rajasthan and Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation. Accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC, and recognised by the UGC as a deemed-to-be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, all the engineering courses offered by the institute are recognised by ACITE.

Infrastructure:
- The infrastructure of our college is very good. Its campus is spread over 100 acres with a lush green campus. The campus is very beautiful and full of trees. It has a peaceful environment.
- The Wi-Fi is there along with a LAN cable with a speed of 1gbps. There is also a duct in hostel room which work in summer for approximately 14 hours a day and AC room are also there available in the hostel.
- For night vending machine, watercooler is there of each floor of hostel. Mess food is average. And there is special mess for Jain students. Library is also good and you can find most of the books.
Faculty:
- All professors are PhD holders. They are very knowledgeable and teach well. If you want to do research work, you will find ample of oppuritinity here.
- Professors are also working on many project so we can work with them. The course curriculum is like IIITs from the 2nd semester and they started mainstream. And college also start a minor specialisation course in artificalintelligency, machine learning, robotics and automation

- MTech admission is done through GATE/ LNMIIT-MTech Entrance Test,
- MSc candidates have to clear IIT JAM/ LNMIIT-MSc Entrance Test. For PhD admission, aspirants need to qualify for UGC NET/ LNMIIT-PhD Entrance Test.
