What is NEET Exam?

NEET Age Limit
- The minimum NEET age limit required to apply for the exam is that the candidate must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2022.
- Earlier, candidates above 25 years of age were not allowed to appear for the exam however, the criteria has now been officially scrapped.
- There is no limit on the number of attempts that is a candidate can take the exam every year.
NEET Education Qualification
- Class 10+2 in PCB and English from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category candidates.
- Reserved category candidates can apply for the exam with 40% marks in PCB.
- If a candidate has opted for biology as an additional subject in Class 12 is also eligible to apply for the exam.
- NEET Nationality
- Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
- NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are also eligible to appear for the exam.
NEET Attempts
- There is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for NEET.
- Candidates who are 17 years and above can take any number of NEET Attempts provided they fulfill other eligibility criteria.
