Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) was started in 2011 as a self-financed State University by the approval of the state government of Rajasthan. The university offers UG, PG, and Doctoral degree courses under a variety of disciplines. The admissions are made both on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and cut-off scores of the different entrance exams depending upon the courses. B.Tech., B.Des. and BA and B.Sc. in honours MBA, LLM, and Ph.D. are the UG courses and PG courses respectively offered here. It also offers doctoral courses. Manipal University Jaipur recently has launced UGC approved Online Degree Courses on BBA, BCA and MCA.
Manipal University Jaipur Admission
Admissions are given to the UG courses based on students who have passed the MET certificate exam conducted by the university. Students must have passed their 10+2 as it is the basic eligibility for the University. Candidates will be admitted directly to the second year, who have passed a 3-year diploma in the relevant field of Engineering/BSc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks can opt for Lateral Entry B Tech courses available here.
Admission into PG courses are merit-based. Applications could be made both in online as well as offline modes.
Manipal University Jaipur Facilities
The university is well-constructed with humongous infrastructure and has a lot of facilities for students as discussed below.
Hostel Facility- Well-furnished hostels are available for students on the University campus providing accommodation for 220 students. Both double and single bedded rooms are available with all the necessary facilities for the comfort of the students.
Library- The University has a library providing a seating capacity of about 80 students. There are more than 1 lac books on Engineering and technology, 29 famous newspapers, and magazines related to various subjects.
Wi-Fi Facility- All faculty rooms, Seminar rooms, Classrooms, library, and laboratories are enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity.
Miscellaneous Facilities- Computer labs, workshops, well-equipped laboratories, graphics labs, and mess are the other facilities that one could have here

Placement
A well GPDA with no back papers should be maintained. The top recruiters that visited our campus during my placement time were Biju’s, ITC limited, HDFC, Bank of Baroda, Cognizant and reliance JIO. I had go placed as a manager in HDFC and the package I was offered was 4 lakhs P.a. It was very good for a start for me. The usual average package starts from 2.75 lakhs and the maximum being upto 30 lakhs p.a. This depends upon company to company and the course as well.
