PES University Bangalore (also known as PESU) was established in 1972 in Bangalore, India. Formerly known as PES Institute of Technology, the university focuses on five main areas of study: Engineering, Management, Law, Medicine and Life Sciences.
The University comprises four campuses, namely PESU Ring Road (RR), PESU Electronic City (EC), PESU Hanumanthanagar (HN) and PESU Medical campus
PES University ranked 83 for Engineering by the NIRF 2021 and 5 by the Outlook-ICARE India University rankings 2020. There are a total 12 departments offering 97 courses across 11 streams. PESU also offers lateral entry admission through PESSAT and CET quota seats.
What is PESSAT exam?
PESSAT stands for People’s Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is conducted by PES University for admission to BTech programs and various other programs offered by the institute. Candidates are shortlisted based on their test score as well as their performance in the personal interview round.
